INTELLIGENT LIFE? NOT IN LOUISIANA…

by Tony Harrington

It caught on like wildfire. A picture taken by a deer hunter’s game camera showing remarkable footage of a creepy humanoid figure slinking through the woods, its eyes flashing in the infrared lamp seconds before it darts away. The picture appeared first on a Facebook page for Wildgame Productions and was picked up by the local news affiliate where the story then took on a life of its own until it was all over the internet in almost viral fashion.

That could be what the creators of the photo hoped for all along.

The photo is actually man-made and planted out there by some very crafty men named J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg to promote their upcoming alien/monster film “Super 8”.  They are using a very similar style of promotion that lead to the success of Abram’s earlier monster movie “Cloverfield”.

So rest assured, there is no alien intelligent life in Louisiana, at least not any that has been captured on a game camera and ended up spreading across the country at a breakneck pace.

Go to hell. I’m from Louisiana and I guarantee you I will be more successful in my life than you could ever dream of being.

Thanks for stopping by and for your ad homenim response to the blog article. Though I am not entirely sure you actually read it versus having a knee-jerk reaction to the headline.

Let me start by saying that intelligence and success are not mutually exclusive. This is evidenced by the cast of “Jersey Shore”.

Secondly, I love Louisiana. I have been many times and not just to the tourist trap of New Orleans. I think the people of Louisiana are among some of the friendliest and most genuine people I have ever met and yes, for the most part, they are intelligent.

This blog is about the paranormal and the unexplained. In old movies, when scientists went to other planets to search for aliens they referred to the mission as “a search for intelligent life.”, so with regard to the headline and in context of the nature of the blog, I used “intelligent life” as a reference to alien life forms.

If you had actually read the article you would have noticed a glaring omission of the mention of the people of the state, because the headline is not about them.

So, I apologize for the misleading headline and for hurting your feelings and the feelings of anyone else who did not comprehend the meaning of the article.

    Thanks again for stopping by.

This picture is very well made. I have had some personal perceptions myself, they were about “spiritual life around me” or “entities” or “aliens” – whatever you may want to call such creatures. Even “visual perceptions” and i must say that some of them were slightly similar to the guy in this photo. I think that the reason why some people imagine aliens or even “demons” as being very slim … and gray…. hairless and with big eyes is because some people actually perceived them or visualized them with some of these features. But not always. Best to all of you.
